Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add a recipe?
Tap the + button on the Recipes tab to create a new recipe. You can enter the title, ingredients, steps, and optionally add a photo.
How does the meal planner work?
Navigate to the Planner tab and tap any day to assign a recipe to that meal slot. You can plan breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the whole week.
Can I share recipes with family members?
Yes! Use the share button on any recipe to send it via Messages, Mail, or any app on your device. Family sync features are coming in a future update.
How do I delete a recipe?
Swipe left on a recipe in the list and tap Delete, or open the recipe and use the options menu in the top-right corner.
Is my data backed up?
The Meal App stores your data locally on your device. To ensure your recipes are safe, keep iCloud Backup enabled in your device settings.
How do I restore a purchase?
Go to Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Privacy Policy
The Meal App is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect or sell your personal data.
All recipes and meal plans you create are stored locally on your device. The app does not require an account and does not transmit your recipe data to any external servers.
The app may use anonymous, aggregated analytics to help us understand how features are used and improve the experience. No personally identifiable information is included in this data.
